Arnold Adams had a lot to live up to. However, neither his misconceptions about forest creatures nor his blistering case of hemorrhoids would prevent Arnold from outdoing his brother in the world of photography. After all, Ansel never had his own stock photo website. Arnold didn't care that Ansel died in 1984; to Arnold, he had still achieved a feat that Ansel could never dream of.

The race war was in full swing between the two opposing groups. Both sides had gotten barnyard dirty with their proliferation of poignant propaganda. Slurs were slung, accusations made, the fight was on, and the stakes were high. It was a winner take all game of skewered facts and media scares, and the losing side was sure to be slaughtered. This story is nothing new, attacks on race had been troubling society since the dawn of language. However, in this instance, it wasn't the opposing side's race being attacked, and in an unusual twist of tactics, both sides were attacking themselves. The fouls had been busy leaking false reports of salmonella contamination in the poultry supply, while the bovine bureaucracy had hit the mother load of media blitzes with the invention of mad cow disease and false reports of a link between heart disease and red meat. In this dog eat dog world, both sides were determined to be perceived as being unfit for consumption.

Tommy's $540,000 construction loan had come due, and unfortunately for Tommy, his credit had never been exemplary, limiting his choice of lenders, especially in today's tight credit market. Tommy was hoping to cover his loan payments with the revenue from his newly constructed business, however in his short sightedness, he over estimated the demand for carnival rental equipment and elephant storage. Tommy had picked up on the local popularity of town and church fairs, but had failed to realize that the organizers of such events typically brought their own equipment with them, and did not feature live elephants, nor any other live wildlife. Therefore, to Tommy's dismay, he had yet to earn a single dollar, and was beginning to regret his decision to decline the local Walmart's request to rent his warehouse as their regional distribution center, which would have netted a monthly profit of $295,000. Yes, Tommy's poor decision making would weigh very heavy on his chest for the rest of his days, but not nearly as heavy as the two and a half tons of Quickcrete fast drying cement that was being poured over his body by the construction union which Tommy was unable to repay.

Dear Mr. President,

I am writing you this letter with grave concern over the questionable and potentially hazardous practices of unregulated emerging energy companies, namely "big solar" and "big wind". As it is well documented, the sun produces an enormous amount of radiation, and its unmitigated effects are absolutely deadly. Comparatively, the little "overflow" of oil into the Gulf has been a simple inconvenience to a few fish farmers. Sure, I'll admit that should not have happened. We were just trying to watch the bottom line and the situation didn't go to plan; to be honest, it's just a big pain to have to hear about it on the news every day when tanning on my sailboat. But that's neither here nor there. Mr. President, I implore you to take steps to stop the piping of these dangerous natural forces into the homes of millions of your countrymen where children play and women cater to their men. We must act quickly to force regulation on these terrible industries, and to slow their infestation into the homes of your citizens. I am willing to put forth the full financial resources of my company to prevent this immanent disaster. No expense will be spared.

You see, Jane would never figure out why she was unable to get that last rock to stack; it was a secret that would be well kept between a bottle of turtle wax and the spa's new nine fingered intern Debonair Dan.

Timmy's experiment had gone awry. All he wanted was to to develop a simple solution to the world's problems of pollution and move towards a sustainable future. So he went online, purchased a pair of doves, a science kit packed with chemicals unknown, and a nuclear fuel cell from the former Soviet Union.

When Timmy's supplies arrived at his home four to six weeks later, he finished playing his game of golf on Wii Sports, had a sandwich consisting mostly of bologna with a slice of tomato, and thereafter immediately went to work on his solution. It was an idea so bold that it would never be permitted in the government lab of biological warfare and Fios installation where he was once employed. Timmy worked day and night in his homemade laboratory in his shed behind his house, which once sheltered his lawn furniture and ride on lawn mower.

After nearly a month of genetic manipulation, the ground around his home began to shake, and his shed exploded in a mist of radioactive dove feathers and prestone anti freeze. Timmy had done it, the genetically altered doves took off towards the atmosphere at supersonic speeds, consuming the green house gasses that were choking the earth. However, with each gulp of toxic gas they consumed, their size and mass increased exponentially, until finally they reached the size of the continent of South America. Their jobs had been completed, and the Earth was once again clean and green, but their appetite could never be satisfied. Could the doves ever be stopped?
